ALRIGHT! I know I just posted one, but here's another.
This is about : Kids and their crappy little "tuner" cars.
Now, don't get me wrong. I am definitely a part of the tuner generation. I want to get a good car, and trick it out. In all honesty, I want a Tiburon. I don't care that it's a Hyundai, I like it.
But, this isn't about me.
Lately, I've been seeing a ton of ghetto kids and their "tuners".
It's like no one even tries. I'm sick of seeing Civics with their Erect-A-Set wings on the back. I'm tired of the gay little flame stickers all over cars. They don't do anything to warrant the body parts their putting on.
"Oh dawg, I changed my intake and installed a muffler, I need a super huge wing and a body kit!"
No. You know what? The guy that owned my car was one of these idiots. Now, I don't have the wing or a body kit. But I do have an incredibly cheap and crappy aftermarket intake that was installed when I got it. And, I have a Borla muffler with a four-inch exhaust tip, also installed when I got the car.
You don't see me rushing out to put money into my car. It's just not a car I want to work on. Not worth it. I'll keep it running until I can afford a new one. Whatever my next car is, I do plan to get a much nicer one, with less than 75K miles, hopefully. That one, I will probably work on.
But I'll do it the right way.
Performance first. Your car has to have balls to back up whatever exterior mods you put on it. An intake and muffler don't qualify. It better have the intake, a FULL aftermarket exhaust (not just the muffler) and some other shit done. For me, I'll do the intake, exhaust, ECU, clutch and flywheel, and probably have the throttle body adjusted, if it's worth it. If I can afford it, sometime before the car reaches a point that I refuse to work on it, I'll even buy a turbo for it. But I'll do all that before I even think about a spoiler.
So you little thugs can drive your Civics, Integras, Neons, and Sentras. And whatever else you might be driving. Keep your intakes, mufflers, ridiculous wings, and your stupid little body kits. One day, I'll leave you sitting at the stoplight wondering why you wasted so much money trying to make your "whip" look cool instead of making it faster.

people's complete lacking in the ability to drive.
ALRIGHT! It's been a while. It's been pretty hectic lately for me, but let's get on with the show.
Today's topic is: Moron's that need to take a plummet off the nearest bridge.
But not really.
No, no. Today, my aim is to vent my frustrations on the idiots that are all around me when I'm driving. Let's get straight to what bugs me.
1) Drifters
- They get a whole lane to drive in, but they have to constantly fade over into mine. This drives me, I N S A N E. The concept of keeping your car between the lines, shouldn't be that hard. I've been doing it since I got my learner's. That's it for these morons, we'll get back to them later.
2) Can't Seem to EVER Use Turn Signals
- Is the idea of a turn signal so foreign to these idiots that they can't use one? I can't read minds. Although, living where I do, I've pretty much found it easier to practically tailgate someone than leave space for these inconsiderate assholes. In the words of the Clive Owen from the awesome movie, "Shoot 'Em Up" :
"I move my finger one inch to use my turn signal. Why are these assholes so lazy they can't move their finger one fucking measly inch to drive more safely?"
3) Aggressive Drivers
- Okay, before I start in on this one, let me start off by saying this. I think I am a fairly aggressive driver. I've been driving for almost two years now, and I love going fast. Now, on the flip side, I have no tickets, and I've never been in an accident. If you're like me, and you're defensively aggressive (as I like to refer to myself) then this isn't pointed at you.
This is pointed at those annoying people who run down turn lanes (in the city) or merge lanes (and usually the shoulder, especially on highways) just to move up a car length or two. They then wonder why traffic is so screwed up.
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT.
You have nothing so important that you can't drive safely and intelligently like the other people on the road. Of course, most people around here are this ignorant kind of aggressive and that's why our traffic sucks. These people, are the ones, providing I can do it without causing any kind of problems, I target when I'm driving. People that need to learn what it's like to be cut off at high speeds, because eventually they might think twice about their actions. Generally, once I've handled them, they fall back, and drive like a normal human being. Others are idiots and try to cut me off, only to realize that I am too damn good, and therefore, they have to fall back in behind me, yet again.
4) People that can't seem to do the speed limit.
TEN UNDER?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?
Those are my exact thoughts when I get stuck behind these morons.
"Oh, I'm saving gas by driving slower"
"I'm driving safer by going under the speed limit"
No. You're creating a rolling roadblock and making traffic worse than it has to be. The pennies you save on your gas by going ten under won't be worth a damn thing when someone doesn't notice how slow you're going, and all of a sudden, the trunk of your car is up your ass.
DO THE DAMN SPEED LIMIT. It's safer for everyone. We need minimum speed limits, I swear.
I don't understand when driving became so difficult. All the hard stuff is done for you. You don't build the car in your basement. It's pre-assembled in a factory. All you have to do, is drive it.
That's it for this one. Ta-ta folks!

"I made history!" - Three words I'm completely sick of hearing.
By now, obviously, we all know the outcome of the 2008 Presidential election. And, as anyone probably could've figured, our new President-Elect is Barack Obama.
Now please, remember that I seek to offend nobody here, and while I am a Republican by choice, this isn't about party politics and how I may or may not feel about our future president.
In fact, this isn't hardly about politics at all. Just like this election was hardly about politics.
Now, on to the whole point of this rant.
I am absolutely disgusted by the words, "I made history!"
Absolutely DISGUSTED. I don't give a damn what your political affiliation is, those words are pathetic. If you voted for Obama because you truly believe in him, and what he can do for this country, then this isn't for you. I'm not aiming this rant at people who actually have faith in the person they voted for.
It's the other people. Those who voted for Obama just because he's an African-American. Just because he's black. Now, I understand that usually it's two old, white guys duking it out for president, and all of a sudden, now there's a black guy besides Sharpton. That doesn't mean you should completely forget about what you're voting for and be like "I want him so I can say 'I helped elect the first black president!'"
That is so absolutely infuriating.
If you're a democrat because you believe in the democratic party, good for you.
If you're a republican because you believe in the G.O.P., good for you.
If you voted Democratic this election because you believed in them, congratulations.
If you voted Republican this election because you believed in them, better luck in 2012.
If you voted Democrat just to say you helped elect a black man, and you have no idea why else you did it, then you're an idiot. Just because he's black doesn't mean he can get the job done. Hell, there's no guarantee that anyone can get the job done. They try their best. But you, voting with absolutely nothing else on your mind but, "Oh, he's black, I'll vote for him.", please, go fall off the nearest cliff and save the world from your stupidity.
You only made history here, in the U.S. No one else really cares about our politics.
Nelson Mandela was the first black president in the mainly white society of South Africa.
Martin Luther King, Jr. should have been the first black president here in the States, and it's singlehandedly one of the biggest tragedies that he was assassinated before he could witness his dream of civil rights come true.
As a side note, I don't believe Obama should've been allowed to run.
No, I'm not racist, and no, it's not just because I'm a republican.
Blatantly refusing to furnish a birth certificate and pulling some lame excuse out of your ass, no, he should've been forced to step down right then.
BE PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN. If you weren't born here and you know it, then maybe you should try to push a bill to amend the constitution SENATOR. Make it so that you can be a naturalized citizen as well. I'm not upset because he won. Just that he refused to provide his birth certificate.
In the future, please research your candidate. Don't vote for him just because he's a minority. Please.

the welfare system.
Welcome one and all, for another game of, "What's that rant!?"
Not really.
Anyways, my rant for this week is probably not going to be as long as my previous two, but hey, here goes.
The Welfare system here in the U.S. is a joke. Now, before I get started, let me go ahead and say that I'm sure there are limits on how long somebody can collect welfare. So don't jump down my throat. However, I also know, like everything else in this lovely country, there's ways around everything.
Why are people permitted to live their lives entirely on welfare? Why should we, the taxpayers and hard-working citizens have to pay so those cheap asses can just sit back and relax? Now, again, I'm not knocking the people who genuinely need it. Shit happens, we all know this, that's precisely why the welfare system was started. However, it was never meant to be a permanent hand-out to those people too lazy to better themselves.
When the welfare system was first introduced, it was supposed to be a leg up to those who had been knocked down by cutbacks and other things of that sort. There wasn't supposed to be a way to collect it indefinitely, because after a set period of time, if you hadn't been looking for a new job or career, your money was cut anyways. There weren't supposed to be loopholes. This is AMERICA, the Land of Opportunity! There's jobs everywhere. If you can't find one, you're not looking. This isn't a wild goose chase, jobs don't go hiding under rocks deep in the forest. There's no need for you to grab a sword and a suit of armor and go fight a dragon for one. You just have to try.
Oh my god, not that word.
Not.... TRY.
God forbid you put forth effort to make better your own situation. No, you'd rather take the money from those people who work their asses off to make the money they EARN. Nothing like free money, right?
There is no such thing as free money. At some point in time, somebody's hard work went into your money, and you don't feel anything about it. You're taking money from somebody who is working one hundred times harder than you, in alot of cases, in situations far worse than yours, and by far, needs the money more than you.
Forget that.
The welfare system needs to be reworked so that the people who are just kicked back, collecting other people's money, actually have to get up and work for their own money. No more "free" money to free-loaders. Get up and do some work.

"Press '1' for English. And illegal immigration.
Welcome to another exciting post of "This Week's Rant is about..."! So far as I've seen there aren't very many people reading this yet, but I'm hoping that will change. Anyways onto what I'm using this thing for.
As I was calling my bank to get an exact amount on how pathetic my checking account was, the very first thing I had to do prompted this rant.
"Press '1' for English."
Now, I don't know who else this bothers, but I know that I'm not the only one. I understand that this is a nation of diversity and all that jazz, but the official language here is, and has been, English.
I should not have to press a single button to understand the phone number that I called. If you want Spanish, push a button. French, push a button. Hungarian? You may just want to give up on the phone thing, at least here. But not English. No, I don't care how many different languages there are here, I shouldn't have to push a single, damn button to get my message in the language of this country.
And it's not just the big businesses with the "Press '1' for English" that pesters me, while I'm on the topic of language.
It's all well and good for you to speak whatever language you speak in your home, or your home country. But when you go into public, you should not expect every single person to be able to know exactly what you're saying or run off to find someone who can.
You have to speak English to get your citizenship, so you might as well keep speaking it. Or, if you were never granted citizenship, go back to where you ran from, and start over, do it the right way. There's no reason you had to cut off the thousands of people waiting in line to become U.S. citizens. If you're coming here for legitimate reasons, then you haven't got any excuse to come here without U.S. citizenship. Stop stealing our welfare and screwing up our taxes because you were too lazy to get a green card.
People can say whatever they want to say about how great immigrant workers are, and you know what? I agree with them. They are great at what they do. But don't encourage the ones who cheated the legal system to get here. They're stealing jobs.
And before I get one of those "superior-than-thou" people on here, I'm not talking like most people. I'm not saying they're taking those jobs (like dishwasher, McDonald's drive-thru man, or other low income jobs) from "hard-working Americans". Because we all know that hard-working Americans are not doing those jobs.
They're taking those jobs away from their brothers and sisters who have legitimately come here to better their lives. Among other things, they manage to get free money from the government through welfare, or they get the jobs more frequently, because the government can't track them, so companies pay them $2 an hour.
This undermines the other immigrants who have gone through the naturalization process and would actually require being paid minimum wage or higher.
In short, English should be automatic. There is no excuse for an immigrant to not become a naturalized citizen, and any illegals need to be deported and then they can do it the right way.
Anyways, thanks for reading along.

religion in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Welcome to the very first (actual) rant! This simply has to do with my views on religion, and while these may not apply to you, that doesn't matter. They are MY views, agree or disagree as you see fit.
Now, please do not start a holy war here, because it is not a rant about which religion is right and which is wrong, or anything of that sort. In fact, it is simply a thought I thought of today. Catchy there with "thought" two times right? I began thinking about the many varied things I've heard about people complaining about this or that. So, without further ado, let's begin.
As I stood around at work today, doing whatever I happened to be doing, I began to think about something that rather annoys me. Now, ladies and gentleman, that which so pestered me was the idea of religion and its position in this country.
The most straight-forward example to me is the Pledge of Allegiance.
I pledge allegiance to the Flag,
Of the United States of America,
And to the Republic for which it stands,
One nation under GOD,
Indivisible, with Liberty, and Justice for all.
Did you catch my reference there? One nation under GOD.
Heaven's no! Not GOD!
I'm sorry, but this has gotten far too out of hand. I'm sick of the atheists and agnostics whining and complaining about having to say that word. Or their children having to say that word, whichever have you. It doesn't matter how much you whine, they will not be removed from the Pledge.
BUT, it seems to have accomplished you the ability to not be punished for refusing to say the Pledge. So, congratulations! It's not like you would've been tried for treason in the first place.
But for those of you who need a brief history lesson to be reminded:
This country was founded on the idea of Religious Freedom. Our forefathers left England to pursue whatever religion they saw fit, without being killed or imprisoned for their beliefs. Get over the fact that you have to utter those two words and be damn proud of living in this country. And if you're not proud of it, or you happen to be sick of how this country is... then move. Nobody is forcing you stay here. "Be proud or get out!" That's my take on it.
However, it also deeply bothers me, that those same people who refuse to speak the words of our Pledge are permitted to remain seated instead of honoring the flag like the rest of us. Yet again, my take is "Get up or get out!"
Thanks for reading along and have a good one.

an introduction to this blog.
Welcome to my blog and thanks for visiting. I'm sure you're reading this thinking, this isn't much of a rant, and you can bite me.
This blog is explicitly for me to express my opinions and not have to care about those little e-thugs who have minds far too narrow to accept anyone else's point of view.
Now, I will more than likely touch on subjects that not everyone is 100% okay with, or that raises controversy. However, I will do my best to remain unbiased, and please remember above all else, I DO NOT SEEK TO OFFEND ANYONE.
Now, there are rules to this blog, and they are as follows:
1) Do not attempt to start a pathetic e-war on here. This is the internet and for goodness sake, people have their own opinions. If you don't like their opinion, then you can respond politely and neatly, there does not need to be a "You @#$%! This is how it has to be looked at!" post. I will immediately remove your comments and any ensuing ones, because that is completely unnecessary.
2) As I previously stated, people have their opinions. And since I am clearly a person and not a duck, I too, have such opinions. Do not try to wage war against me, because I do not have time for your petty internet battle. If you disagree with me, congratulations, you can respond in a civilized manner just as the rest of the world. If you happen to agree with me, fantastic! I have found a similar mind. If you simply come to this page to pester, agitate, or otherwise annoy me or my readers, you can just simply go.
3) Please, please use proper grammar. It isn't that hard to remember how to type properly. Now, I will allow the use of the following "net"-terms:
- LOL
- ROFL
- LMAO
Anything else you may abbreviate for use in an instant message can happily remain outside of this blog.
4) Keep an open mind. That is of utmost importance.
Thanks for reading and abiding by these rules.

This blog is explicitly for me to express my opinions and not have to care about those little e-thugs who have minds far too narrow to accept anyone else's point of view.
