ALRIGHT! It's been a while. It's been pretty hectic lately for me, but let's get on with the show.
Today's topic is: Moron's that need to take a plummet off the nearest bridge.
But not really.
No, no. Today, my aim is to vent my frustrations on the idiots that are all around me when I'm driving. Let's get straight to what bugs me.
1) Drifters
- They get a whole lane to drive in, but they have to constantly fade over into mine. This drives me, I N S A N E. The concept of keeping your car between the lines, shouldn't be that hard. I've been doing it since I got my learner's. That's it for these morons, we'll get back to them later.
2) Can't Seem to EVER Use Turn Signals
- Is the idea of a turn signal so foreign to these idiots that they can't use one? I can't read minds. Although, living where I do, I've pretty much found it easier to practically tailgate someone than leave space for these inconsiderate assholes. In the words of the Clive Owen from the awesome movie, "Shoot 'Em Up" :
"I move my finger one inch to use my turn signal. Why are these assholes so lazy they can't move their finger one fucking measly inch to drive more safely?"
3) Aggressive Drivers
- Okay, before I start in on this one, let me start off by saying this. I think I am a fairly aggressive driver. I've been driving for almost two years now, and I love going fast. Now, on the flip side, I have no tickets, and I've never been in an accident. If you're like me, and you're defensively aggressive (as I like to refer to myself) then this isn't pointed at you.
This is pointed at those annoying people who run down turn lanes (in the city) or merge lanes (and usually the shoulder, especially on highways) just to move up a car length or two. They then wonder why traffic is so screwed up.
IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT.
You have nothing so important that you can't drive safely and intelligently like the other people on the road. Of course, most people around here are this ignorant kind of aggressive and that's why our traffic sucks. These people, are the ones, providing I can do it without causing any kind of problems, I target when I'm driving. People that need to learn what it's like to be cut off at high speeds, because eventually they might think twice about their actions. Generally, once I've handled them, they fall back, and drive like a normal human being. Others are idiots and try to cut me off, only to realize that I am too damn good, and therefore, they have to fall back in behind me, yet again.
4) People that can't seem to do the speed limit.
TEN UNDER?! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?!?
Those are my exact thoughts when I get stuck behind these morons.
"Oh, I'm saving gas by driving slower"
"I'm driving safer by going under the speed limit"
No. You're creating a rolling roadblock and making traffic worse than it has to be. The pennies you save on your gas by going ten under won't be worth a damn thing when someone doesn't notice how slow you're going, and all of a sudden, the trunk of your car is up your ass.
DO THE DAMN SPEED LIMIT. It's safer for everyone. We need minimum speed limits, I swear.
I don't understand when driving became so difficult. All the hard stuff is done for you. You don't build the car in your basement. It's pre-assembled in a factory. All you have to do, is drive it.
That's it for this one. Ta-ta folks!

ta-ta? Are you joking? You are trying to be a serious writer and you have the "sarcasm" of a 15-year-old. As for the saving money on gas thing by going slower, honestly the only thing that saves people money on gas is going at a consistent speed. Another point I have to make is that you are trying to ward people off from being aggressive drivers, yet you are one of these "assholes" you describe. It is like teaching a child not to hit by hitting it. What good is that going to do? None if you ask me. This was poorly formed but could be a great idea if developed correctly. Not my style of writing per say, but different. Keep it up and you will improve.
